new problem

after driving today i taken my taco out and to my shock is in bits. it looks like it must of folded at bottom and got stuck and the bot that turns have just opened the middle up. it have not recorded anything at all. what should i do? put the times on back manaual and write down discovered taco damaged when taken out? i didn open till end of shift so didn relise it was not operating properly. but this was not a taco fault it just must of folded a bit when i closed it and held it still.

It happened to me years ago. Just fill in a new disc as normal and put a maunal entry on the back with a short discription of what happened.

You are supposed to clip the damaged one to the written one as well.:pirate2:

I assume that you reported the tacho problem to your traffic manager as soon as you possibly could.As statted above write out a manual tacho and keep the damaged one with it,also write out a traffic report just to cover yourself.

This can sometimes happen if the charts have got damp at some time, and dried out again before use.

yeah i told him and he signed it. Got same bus again today for a north wales trip. Better not **** this one up. Its one of them have dig have old taco. With the paper bit going in a slidey draw
