DID you know?............

Your keyboard can do many more symbols than those shown? For instance: ¼, ¢ or ÷

You have to use the numerics board to your right, not the usual top row! Make sure that the "num lock" is on (There is usually a light to indicate this) Hold down "ALT" and enter 0189 to get this: ½

Here are a few of the more common signs....

ALT + 0188bbbbb¼
ALT + 0189ccccc½
ALT + 0190vvvvv¾

ALT + 0215bbbbb×
ALT + 0247vvvvv÷

ALT + 0187vvvvv»
ALT + 0171vvvvv«

ALT + 0185vvvvv¹
ALT + 0178vvvvv²
ALT + 0179vvvvv³bbbbbeg: (6)³

ALT + 0162vvvvv¢

And finally, (but don't ask me how its used)

ALT + 0191vvvvv¿

There are many more, the one that I am after is the Euro sign, I am sure its there somewhere but haven't managed to get the correct number yet, perhaps some member may be able to enlighten me?
