This has to be the best services in the country, in private ownership too. ?2 kingfisher vouchers for less than 27 passengers & ?4 for more than 27. The food is superb, and the coach parking bays are kept clear of trucks during the day. If northbound and you have any problems ask for mike the manager, he is a gent.

Next time we are in Southbound you can go for the meals. You are a young pup and will get away with it.Where as I,m an old miserable fart and growl at everybody.I hate everyone it saves time getting to know them.I had a bunch of God botherers today Half an hour of rosary beads. If I wasnt suicidal before I was after:k:.Till I got an envelope of them Then I nearly joined in."Our Father who art in heaven":s:
you kept that whippy job quiet.... lol Had to share mine today ,,, Bummer!!!!!!!!!!!

Tebay is a good services, if you have passengers, but if not they don't want to know, you don't get anything, at least that what the manager told me

I've always enjoyed the tebay, but always had problems parking. Trucks pull up on the approach lane and to stop them parking in the coach bays themselves, miles of ribbon connected to cones are distributed around the parking area. I generally either have to wait for the guy to move them, or get out and move them myself:thumbdown:

I have just discovered a big minus at Tebay! :frown: I called in at around 9:30 tonight (as a customer, I have had 3 days with the wife touring Scotland in the car) and found that the cafeteria closes at 9pm and the shop was also closed.
So if you arrive with hungry passengers after this time, you only have a small choice of very expensive sandwiches or a hot pie . :frown: My wife had a toasted cheese and onion sandwich which set me back £4-something:mad: and the pies (small) were £3-20. I refused to buy anything for myself at those prices!

Tebay Southbound is by far my favourite stop. Only problem i have with it is the parking, sometimes it can be a hasstle, especially as it's a favourite for alot and always mobbed but i always have a nice walk around the place. Nice looos, too lol
When i comes to Northbound i do occassionally stop there but only infrequently. I tend to wait for the Moto up the road, and the North isnt quite as nice as the Southbound i m o.
