dont install this as it has more bugs than vista has even MS admits to this and has'nt put it on the automatic update though it is on the MS site for download.

I installed it and lost my wireless conection :j:

McFee antivirus wont work on it either so i understand

Vista working okay for me, only problem is it can sometimes lag if you either open or close too many programmes at once.

Same here. Works fine for me at home, apart from the odd game thats not compatable.

Works fine for me now after adding 4 gigs of ram vista struggles with only 1gig...

That's probably the trouble I'm having with it then. My laptop has 1GB at present!

yep on the techie forums they say you need 2gig for it to preform at its best ( if there is a best :confused_smile: )

i got a new laptop that came with vista and the only probs ive had it as other peeps have said certain apps and games wont run such as norton system works ( wont even install) :regular_smile::regular_smile:

I suppose it's all about personal preference at the end of the day... Well, that and the fact that Micro$oft keep realeasing stuff that isn't quite ready!!

If you remember, it wasn't all that long ago that XP had these issues too!

Vista will not even run MSN right on my laptop.. tryed and tryed but still wont have it!!! Pants...

oh mine runs msn on vista it just that the lappy goes slow sometimes abd whn you get rid of a mydocument or pictures anything like thaat it say windows has to restart so it everything disapears for about 20 sec while it restarts ou can only see the wallpaper
