Hi everyone, just found this forum via a google search for 'Coach Driver Club' as I have just got my PCV licence and started doing some part time 'freelance' driving for a number of local coach operators. My main work is IT contracting but I am finding gaps between contracts are getting longer, and needed something to fill them. Driving a coach has been a life-long dream since I was a small child, and I finally took the opportunity to fulfil it! I live in Suffolk, East Anglia, and so far have done a number of jobs including rail replacement and the inevitable school runs. I am looking forward to reading your posts in this forum!
All the best, Keith :yo:

Hi Keith,
Welcome to the forum. I'm an IT Technician at a school in North Yorks. I'm slowly saving up to take my PCV lessons etc so might need some advice/tips from yourself !!
Enjoy
Karl

Hi Karl, thanks for your welcome. When I was 'shopping around' for training courses I had a variety of replies and prices, but finally settled on the local County Council, who train their own drivers and I saved ?300 by going for two-to-one tuition, which I would recommend anyway, as it is a lot easier to cope with.
good luck with your quest.
Keith
